Eagle Metalcraft is seeking an experienced Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our production team. This position is best suited for an individual with hands-on experience in precision sheet metal fabrication, with a strong emphasis on forming and press brake operations.

The ideal candidate will have the experience necessary to independently set up and operate fabrication equipment, read and interpret blueprints, and produce quality parts to exact customer specifications and tolerances. This is not an entry-level training position; we are looking for someone who can bring established fabrication skills to the team.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $20.00-$33.00 per hour, based on experience

• Set up and operate press brakes and other sheet metal fabrication equipment to produce parts according to drawings, specifications, and required tolerances.
• Perform sheet metal forming operations, including selecting proper tooling, determining setups, and completing bend sequences.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work instructions, and job specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, to verify part dimensions and quality.
• Identify and resolve fabrication or setup issues while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.
• Operate additional fabrication equipment and processes as needed, which may include laser equipment, CNC punch presses, shears, drills, hardware insertion equipment, sanding, deburring, and grinding.
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with other production team members and assist with additional fabrication responsibilities as needed.

• 3-5 years of precision sheet metal fabrication experience, including hands-on press brake setup and forming experience is a must.
• Ability to independently set up equipment and produce parts to drawing specifications and tolerances.
• Strong blueprint and technical drawing reading skills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Working knowledge of basic shop math and the ability to calculate dimensions and measurements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• TIG welding experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand and/or sit for extended periods.
