SUNY Onondaga Community College, located in Syracuse, NY is currently recruiting for a Coordinator of Concurrent Enrollment

 

The Coordinator of Concurrent Enrollment is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day functioning of the College Credit Now (CCN) concurrent enrollment program at Onondaga Community College. The Coordinator serves as a point of contact for high school partners and faculty mentors to ensure smooth delivery of daily operations within the CCN program.

Responsibilities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operational functions of the concurrent enrollment program at OCC.
  • Support the course approval and high school instructor approval processes.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with high school partners and OCC faculty in relation to mentoring, instructor requests, course requests, and instructor surveys.
  • Administer program logistics by collaborating with high school instructors, verifying rosters, resolving registration issues, and monitoring grade and COR completion
  • Build and maintain relationships with high school partners.
  • Collaborate with campus offices to support the technical requirements of the program (i.e. Helpdesk, Information Technology, Student Accounts, Registration and Records).
  • Track OCC faculty mentor requirements.
  • Manage the registration process for the Interactive Video Conferencing and Special Section courses.
  • Manage the course confirmation process and CCN section creation processes in Colleague and myCCN.
  • Support the annual CCN professional development requirements.
  • Manage the New Instructor Orientation and onboarding process.
  • Responsible for the collection and review of documentation related to program accreditation requirements.
  • Complete data projects as assigned.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

USD $44,000.00/Yr.

Max Compensation

USD $55,000.00/Yr.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, college or foreign equivalency.
  • A minimum of two years of experience supporting program logistics and operations.

 

PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS

  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Knowledge of technical processes and procedures related to student database systems and learning management systems (Colleague, Banner, Slate, D2L Brightspace).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to utilize assessment tools and data to guide process improvements
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possess a willingness to take initiative and embrace a fast-paced work environment

Additional Information:

  • Salary range is: $44,000 - $55,000, commensurate with credentials and relevant experience.
