We are looking for someone who:

  • Likes solving problems
  • Is naturally curious and technical
  • Takes ownership and moves with urgency
  • Wants to build a future—not just hold a position

Responsibilities

Estimating (50%)

  • Review RFQs (Requests for Quotes), technical drawings, and specifications to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates.
  • Calculate material, labor, tooling, and subcontracting costs for jobs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to validate job feasibility and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare formal quote documents and proposals for customers.
  • Track, update, and maintain historical quoting data and project cost records.
  • Monitor market trends in raw materials and labor to maintain up-to-date pricing strategies.

Front Office Support (50%)

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, vendors, and visitors; maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries or route them to the appropriate departments.
  • Handle mail distribution, filing, supply ordering, and basic clerical duties.
  • Support the sales and production teams with administrative tasks such as data entry, document prep, and scheduling.
  • Assist with maintaining customer and vendor databases, including contact details and quote/job status.
  • Help coordinate company meetings, facility tours, and customer visits.

Min Compensation

USD $18.00/Hr.

Max Compensation

USD $25.00/Hr.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Mindset (Most Important)

  • Curious and technical thinker – you want to understand how things work
  • Bias for action – you don’t wait to be told, you move things forward
  • Accountable – you take ownership of your work and outcomes
  • High standards – you care about doing things the right way, not just getting them done
  • Growth-oriented – you want to learn, improve, and take on more responsibility

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities

(Manufacturing or estimating experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.)

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on exposure to real manufacturing operations
  • Direct learning from experienced team members
  • A clear path to grow into advanced technical, operational, or leadership roles
  • A workplace that invests in people and develops them for the future

Company Website

Company Profile

Founded in 1953 as the Eagle Manufacturing Company, we began primarily as a welding shop. Equipment at that time consisted of a drill press, lathe and welding machine, and soon with the growth of the electronics industry, grew to include precision sheet metal fabrications with a specialization in aluminum fabrication and welding. This soon became the core of our business.

Anticipating our customers’ future requirements, Eagle Metalcraft expanded to include professional in-house painting, finishing and powder coating. Over the years, we’ve added state-of-the-art capital equipment to improve quality and productivity. Laser Cutting, CNC Machining and Turning centers provide customers “one-stop shopping”, and job-shop specific software enable better control and analysis of job costs and flow through.

With a focus on “old world craftsmanship,” Eagle Metalcraft has earned a reputation as a Premiere Sheet Metal Fabricator, CNC Machining and Turning company with unequaled quality and delivery. Whether you are in the Northeast or anywhere in the United States, we look forward to teaming with you to produce the highest quality precision metal products.
