Eagle Metalalcraft located in Syracuse, NY is actively recruiting for experienced Precision Sheet Metal Fabricators to join their team for 2nd Shift!

The set-up, operation and maintenance of various production equipment and processes related to our ongoing precision sheet metal fabrication business. Equipment and processes include laser, CNC punch presses, press brakes, shears, drills, hardware insertion, sanding/deburring/grinding and plating.

Strong mechanical aptitude and good math skills or similar experiences would be considered for training. 

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00/per hour DOE

• Utilize effective and safe problem-solving skills to produce accurate sheet metal parts to exact drawing specifications and tolerances.
• The position requires reading and understanding both written and verbal instructions along with the ability to read and understand blue prints as required.
• Operate assigned equipment and processes to produce parts on schedule while maintaining quality and accuracy to customer specifications.
• The use of precision measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Will work with other production employees and take on various tasks as required and report directly to the Fabrication Manager.
• TIG welding experience preferred. 

• Ability to apply basic math skills to measure and calculate various drawing dimensions.
• Ability to move and lift, up to 50 pounds.
• Physically able to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude or similar experience is a plus
