Armoured One, LLC located in Syracuse, NY is recruiting for a Facilities Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position with work hours, M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm (varied as needed).  Pay DOE, $60,000-$70,000 per year.  This position is not remote.

The Facilities Manager working under the direction of the COO, is responsible for the repair, construction, upgrade, installation, and ongoing maintenance of the building and grounds. Responsibilities include ongoing construction of the Syracuse headquarters.

• Lead construction projects and have an extensive general contracting background. 
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building interior/exterior (paint, remodel, and refurbish as needed) as assigned. Ground maintenance as needed.  
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with operation needs.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, plumbing, electrical, finish work, etc.).
• Perform maintenance and basic troubleshooting of electrical, heating, and plumbing systems as needed to ensure functionality.
• Clean out sites from debris and discarded materials.
• Design and build custom crates for shipment of products.
• Work in accordance with all safety protocols and standards, complying with all company policies and regulations. Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations. 
• Help coordinate contracted services for building needs, aiding as needed. 
• Provide/maintain clean and orderly work areas. 
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. 
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience within manufacturing or related field 

Skills and Abilities:

• Team player with ability to work collectively with others within the organization.  
• Basic plumbing and carpentry knowledge. 
• Comfortable in a fast paced and fluid environment. 
• Self-directed with the ability to be resourceful, plan and organize work. 
• Displays positive attitudes and practices good work ethics that reflect the mission, vision, and goals of the company.
