Responsibilities

  • Candidate will program CNC Milling machines using three axis CAM software.
  • Create, organize and maintain detailed set-up sheets.
  • Design, build, set-up and fixture all machines as required to optimize part production and quality.
  • Qualify and QC all parts to meet customer requirements on first article and production inspections.
  • Set-up, train, instruct and monitor machine operators on all phases of production runs.
  • Determine operations, materials and tooling required to complete jobs to our customer’s satisfaction.
  • Optimize programs, fixtures, tooling,
  • Operate all CNC and manual equipment as needed for both prototypes and production requirements.
  • Assist with quoting of new or revised parts and to suggest best methods to produce quality parts in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on an as needed and scheduled basis.
  • Successful working relationships with our Fabrication Manager, Quality Assurance, Management, Production Scheduling, Purchasing and our Customers to determine best method to produce and ship a quality product on time in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Training of personnel to perform all phases of our manufacturing operations.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as requested or assigned to meet our customer’s demands.

USD $20.00/Hr.

Max Compensation

USD $28.00/Hr.

Qualifications

  • 5 + Successful years of experience with CNC Programming, Set-up and Operation of CNC Machining equipment.
  • Ability to read and analyze customer engineering drawings and CAD Files.
  • Complete understanding and use of 3D CAD and Design software.
  • Complete understanding and use of CNC CAM programming systems. (Mastercam Preferred)
  • Understanding and use of all tolerance and drawing specifications and standards.
  • Understanding and use of Geometric Tolerance standards.
  • Use and knowledge of all precision measuring tools and equipment including CMM.
  • Experience working with job-based computer systems including job tracking, costing, scheduling, shop travelers, and purchasing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
