MACNY, The Manufacturers Association is seeking a talented Marketing & Communications Specialist to support a broad range of initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in marketing/communications and business, a keen understanding of marketing best practices, strong writing and editing skills, and is interested in supporting a wide range of projects across multiple departments.

This candidate will focus on e-mail marketing, copywriting and editing, social media, event support, association publications, and other various projects.

Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with colleagues on:

  • Planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Marketing strategy and execution for training events
  • Copy editing and proofreading
  • Content management (blogs, e-mail, and publications)
  • Event support
  • Social media
  • Supporting content creation and marketing materials for various departments
  • Supporting website content development
  • Additional miscellaneous projects as assigned

USD $58,500.00/Yr.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years previous marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field is preferred
  • Experience with content management, copywriting and editing, event coordination, digital marketing, social media, and other key marketing skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to perform as part of a small team with evolving directives
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with digital content platforms such as content management systems, web-hosting platforms, social media for business tools, e-mail marketing tools, etc.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
  • Experience with CRM management is preferred
  • Willingness to learn new software and skills
