In this role, the Logistics Manager will be a well-rounded professional to perform various leadership functions supporting our logistics organization, reporting directly to the President.

Full time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm or as needed

Local Travel only, all within a 2-hour radius

Daily Activities will include, but not limited to:

• Applicant will regularly visit multiple facilities all within a two-hour radius

Warehouse Operations: 

• Familiarized with inventory systems, able to train new staff
• Assist with pricing analysis
• Evaluate Staffing levels for efficiency
• Familiarized with safe operations of forklifts and ability to evaluate and train staff

Business Development:           

• Assist with business development plan and implementation
• Support growth plan by assisting opening of new locations
• Assist with planning for new expansions
• Hire, train, and evaluate new staff

Customer Service:

• Daily interaction with customers
• Develop positive relationships while managing expectations

Safety:

• Participate in quarterly safety meetings
• Input in changes to safety procedures and incentive program
• Evaluate and train staff for safe operations

Trucking:

• Assist Trucking Operations Manager with all aspects of trucking operations
• Assist with training and evaluation of drivers

Career Development:

• Participate in the Leadership Development Program which will expose you to all aspects of the operation with the intention of becoming a senior leader upon meeting milestones.

• 4-year degree in logistics or 4-years equivalent experience
