Responsibilities

To help us meet our mission LOTTE BIOLOGICS is in need of a Procurement Specialist (Indirect) to drive purchasing activities, forecasting and management of purchase orders(including delivery dates and confirmations), while under management supervision.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to place requisitions for indirect purchases
  • Confirm and adjust lead times as needed  
  • Manage and maintain new vendor set up
  • Manage invoice reconciliations
  • Negotiate price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance objectives in quality, cost and service as measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensures commercial term alignment; pricing, quantity and compliance information and communicates with suppliers and site personnel as needed
  • Update Business System as needed
  • Participate in multi-disciplined cross-functional project teams and meetings
  • Develop effective relationships with key suppliers in a way that builds mutual respect, trust and drives performance
  • Provide solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing
  • Back up support for Direct Material Purchasing Specialist
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Min Compensation

USD $60,000.00/Yr.

Max Compensation

USD $88,000.00/Yr.

Bonus

8%

Qualifications

Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required
  • 2+ years Procurement of experience or relevant experience
  • Prior experience interacting with suppliers, purchase order maintenance, negotiating with suppliers and developing new vendor relationships
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental concepts of material requirements, planning and procurement including inventory management, expediting and order placement
  • SAP/Ariba experience a plus

  • Highly motivated individual, who can work and collaborate with a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills 

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer

 

Work Environment:

Office based work environment

 

Travel:

This position requires minimal (0-5%) travel
