Responsibilities

To help us meet our mission LOTTE BIOLOGICS is in need of a Senior Specialist, Planner on our Supply Chain team.  This role is responsible for material resource planning to support manufacturing and will utilize SAP and data analysis tools for transactional planning and inventory review.   

 

  • Plan and monitor SAP material inventory levels, ensuring sufficient coverage to support uninterrupted site operations.  Including execution of SAP reports and creation of report visualization.
  • Manage inventory levels of materials at on-site and off-site storage locations; communication to cross-functional teams for material transfers between locations to ensure sufficient on-site coverage.
  • Complete holistic material reviews to ensure accurate and robust ordering and usage strategy.
  • Work with procurement, quality, or other cross-functional teams to ensure compliant ordering and receipt of materials needed for production, including review of supplier change notification as needed.
  • Support master data maintenance changes, including updates to lead times, safety stocks, order quantities, etc.
  • Coordinate disposition of obsolete inventory, and inventory clean-up (monitoring of crate parts, bins, return bins, etc) with cross-functional team.
  • Create, release, and monitor process orders to ensure timely transactions are completed by end user teams.
  • Review and create purchase requisitions; review requisitions and purchase orders with procurement team as needed to ensure robust ordering.
  • Escalate/communicate Supply Chain concerns to department management/leadership.
  • Maintain and optimize planning-related procedures and work instructions to support robust and compliant processes. 
  • Support project teams and cross-functional SAP/planning requests as needed.
  • Ability to manage and pivot between multiple competing priorities.

USD $88,000.00/Yr.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree with 0-2 years work-related experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality or Manufacturing; or 5 years work-related experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality or Manufacturing.  
  • Knowledge of SAP planning, procurement and/or data management.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of cGMP's, Federal and State regulatory requirements, company policies/procedures, and documentation practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities against ambitious timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and work with urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through challenges and execute tasks to completion. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP system.
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning and scheduling concepts.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology.  Lean Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt experience preferred.
  • Professional (CPIM, CSCP APICS) certification is desirable.
  • Understanding of investigation and change management process/systems. 

 

Physical Demands:

Physical exertion may be required including sitting, standing, repetitive (Use of Arm, Hands, Wrists), and mobility across level surfaces for sustained periods.

Office space, lab space, inside work, working alone, working with/around others

 

Travel:

This position requires up to 5% of travel.
