Position Title:            Paint Processing Supervisor  - 2nd shift        

Department:              Operations

Supervisor:                Director of Operations

Location:                    New Berlin   

Salary:                      $55,475 - $69,355

*2nd shift works 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, Monday through Thursday

Responsibilities

Supervise the Paintmaking department’s operations and ensure that tasks are completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.  Supervise and train department personnel to ensure compliance with established procedures, as well as ensuring the use of SOP’s and tracking performance metrics and goals that foster productivity and continuous improvements. Incumbent will also perform administrative requirements, such as work order review and corrections, completing necessary forms and reports, perform process audits, etc.

Qualifications

Education Required:

  • 2-year degree in business administration, operations management, logistics, or other related function.

Experience Desired:

How much:

  • 5-7 years

Type experience:

  • 1-3 years in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities
  • 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Summary of Essential Physical Demands:

  • Intermittent lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of 50 lbs.
  • Frequent walking and standing on concrete surfaces
  • Frequent sitting and office work
  • Must be able to wear required PPE including respirator, Tyvek, gloves.
  • Occasional work at temperature extremes due to enclosed paintmaking cells.
  • Must have visual acuity for color.
