A 3rd shift Maintenance Technician that is looking to establish a career in industrial maintenance is needed! The Maintenance Technician will:

  • Bring experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial electrical and manufacturing experience.
  • Maintain all primary, secondary, and injection and/or blow molding support equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all primary, secondary, and injection molding / decoration support equipment.
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PM) on all main and auxiliary equipment across all departments in accordance with established procedures and schedules under the PM Program including, but not limited to:
  • Under direction, work effectively and in coordination with all manufacturing departments to handle immediate repair needs and set-ups, as needed.
  • Participate in coordination of all major shutdown maintenance duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintenance Technicians report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and have no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing facility experience preferred.
  • Two years' experience in a manufacturing environment, and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, problem solving, and computers preferred.
  • Understanding of machinery .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable safety rules.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multitask and willingness to cross train.
  • Ability to follow, retain, and communicate detailed instructions.
  • Ability to follow standard policies and procedures.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage time, organize, and prioritize work effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to keep production equipment operating, including on-call/overtime as needed.
  • Superior manual dexterity, muscular control, and delicate touch are necessary to complete precision work.
  • Able to frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to occasionally exert up to 50 lbs. of force, and/or consistently exert up to 20 lbs. of force to move objects.
  • Coordinated visual, physical, and mental attention required.
