Nidec Motor Corporation is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in East Syracuse, NY. 

This is not a remote position.

• Responsibilities for corrective action by using a variety of analytical and statistical tools.
• Review customer complaints and drive resolution.
• Quality Develop, implement, monitor, and control QA system to assure quality based on customer and/or product specifications.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality problems.
• Develop motivate, and train qualified personnel to QA standards.
• Develop Control Plans, FMEA’S, Flow Charts, etc.
• Provide customer complaint summary and trends to all personnel.
• Improve QA system procedures and instructions.
• Secondary Functions Train personnel in QA procedures, instructions, etc.
• Monitor cost of quality, reduce wastes and non-value-added activity.
• Layout and use of measuring tools.
• Internal Auditing of QMS and support processes.
• Ability to support APQP practices as a team member.
• Ability to complete documentation for PPAP’S.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with ISO 9001.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
• Familiar with CMM equipment.
• Good organizational skills.

• 0-2 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in applicable engineering field.
