LOTTE BIOLOGICS located in East Syracuse, NY is seeking a Finance Manager, Treasury to join our team who entered the biologics Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) business after acquiring Bristol Myers Squibb’s Syracuse biologics drug substance manufacturing site, on January 1, 2023!


We are searching for a Finance Manager, Treasury to manager and oversee overall treasury functions.  This is a managerial role and will be reporting to the Director of Finance. This role is a meaningful role in supporting overall treasury tasks that include management of the cash, cash pool banking structure, liquidity, and debt portfolio. This role also conducts accounting of debt instruments, derivatives, cash forecast and various types of treasury functions.  This role is expected to require strong understanding of tasks related to deposit, withdrawal, funding, AP and AR. 


  • Responsible for forecasting, scenario generation, stress testing and managing cash balances
  • Enter and approve wire transfer requests and ad-hoc payments while staying in compliance with policies and guidelines
  • Coordinate daily liquidity needs to maximize investment returns
  • Work with necessary third parties to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting and manage loan/deposit
  • Respond to documentation requests from banking partners which required liasing with Legal or Tax, including KYC, AML, FATCA requests.
  • Responsible for the development and improvement of treasury systems and reporting
  • Develop effective controls and a formal compliance program for the Syracuse, NY site
  • Support special projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related discipline.  In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in a treasury role, where a number of years have proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, cash management, wire transfer operations, bank operations or related fields
  • Ability to work collaboratively with finance and accounting
  • Ability to work with external counterparts which includes a strong understanding of treasury workstations and banking platforms
  • Maintain cash flow by managing cash forecasting models and monitoring bank balances and cash requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills and accuracy, attention to detail is a must
  • Prior experience with contracts, PO, AR and AP is a plus
  • Experience in the manufacturing or biopharma industry (CDMO) is a plus
  • Experience in managing others is a plus
